As we begin a New Year - in fact a New Decade! - this is the perfect time to think about what we’ve been holding that may need to be released, so that we can make space for all the wonderful adventures that 2020 can bring.

Chloe & Lucy have been running retreats together for 5 years now, and they have created something very special that each & every guest can relate to. It’s a little slice of magic in an all-too-challenging world...If their last retreat was anything to go by, then you are in for a treat.

Caluna Wellness - Wimm Hoff Method Workshop

Saturday, 25th January​ 2020 - 1pm  - 6pm  |  Sunday 26th January 2020 11am - 4pm

Put yourself in the expert hands of Heather, a certified Wim Hof Method (WHM) Instructor and yoga and meditation teacher to learn the 3 pillars of the WHM: Breathing Technique, Cold Exposure & Commitment. Find out how you can utilize oxygen and cold exposure to optimize body & mind, and learn about the underlying physiology.

The intimate quality allows for ample personal attention, and feedback tailored to your specific situation. Whether you are looking to improve mental or physical performance, relieve symptoms related to an illness, or are just curious to find out what the Wim Hof Method is all about— a WHM workshop offers something for everyone.

The program:
-Introduction and Welcome
-Introduction to the WHM
-Science Behind the WHM
-Movement
-Breathwork
-Meditation and Visualisation
-Ice Bathing

At the end there is ample room for reflection, and Heather is there to answer questions throughout the workshop.

Please bring a towel, swimming costume, comfortable clothing and a notebook and pen.

We'll have some light refreshments throughout the afternoon, but please come having eaten already as a meal is not provided. You'll receive an overview to print-out at the end.

If you have no prior experience with cold exposure, we recommend you finish your showers cold in the days leading up to the workshop. This may be overwhelming at first, but just try to relax, focus on your breath, and bring it into a controlled, steady rhythm.

Who is this workshop for?

This workshop is suitable for everyone, but does require a basic level of health. Out of precaution, we advise against participation during pregnancy, or if you are epileptic. People with cardiovascular issues, or any other serious health conditions should always consult a medical professional before starting the Wim Hof Method.
 

A Spring Reset With Charlotte & Marion From Oat Kitchen

We are thrilled to be welcoming the wonderful Charlotte & Marion back to host their very own retreat! Over the years they have catered countless retreats for yogis all over the world, so now it's their turn to host, and we think you'll be in for a treat and something a little different with this one.

 

They will be focusing on the qualities of Spring to rebalance, reset and support the body and mind. This is Kapha time in Ayurveda (an ancient healing wisdom pre-dating Yoga), which is governed by water and earth - hello damp and heavy!

 

Over the weekend you will be shrugging off your slumbering Winter energy, by reconnecting with Nature using Movement, Breath-work, Ayurvedic-inspired workshops and cleansing techniques, Meditation and of course- delicious food to open up the lungs, reboot your systems and welcome in some heat, lightness and nourishment to promote renewal and growth.
